WORKS WITH MAC JUST FINE
I had the same situation as OrangeCrush, I was at best buy and thought I'd give it a go. Same model HD, but using an imac intel (late '06 model). The box says it has the windows software pre-loaded, and it does, but the great thing about macs is that you just plug it in and go. That's exactly what I did, and it works every time. Horrible! Piece of #*$&@ Don't buy
This is a horrible product. I would think that Seagate can make a better product. Died after 2 days of light use. Drive would start to click and then unmount itself. Don't buy even if it is cheap.
