Poor Choice if Firewire 800 or 400 Desired for a Mac
Drive RAID functions via USB connection, but operation with firewire was problematic. Instead of near continuous I/O operation as I see with all my other drives (and this drive with USB), firewire activity was always in short bursts with intervening periods of inactivity in a 1:4 pattern.
