Good so far
I purchased this drive a couple of weeks ago to replace a WD 500GB MyBook that would disconnect from my Mac after short periods of activity. I was very reluctant to purchase another Western Digital drive but the reviews on this one were good so I thought I would give it a try.
Works great, good value
I'm a graphic designer looking for a good repository for graphic flies, records, data, whatever. I highly recommend this product. It's plug and play. The only thing I have a small problem with is preparing it so the 2 TB drive is actually a dually mirrored drive (I TB with ITB instantaneous backup). For instance even if you hit the right buttons it's difficult to know if you've done just what you set out to do. However I can't fault Western Digital for a fine product. They need to specify OS
I bought this because I have the 2 TB mirror edition hard drive by Western Digital. It works fine on my Vista 64 bit. I looked on here and it says that this one works on Vista, but didn't specify, so I bought it anyway. It doesn't work with my OS so had to return it and have to buy the Mirror Edition one again.
