I got this drive for christmas and have saved very little on it until now. I needed to reinstall vista so I spent all night backing up 30 gb of stuff off of my hard drive. I just got vista back up and running and found that there was nothing to restore on my Lacie :( Depending on this external drive cost me everything I had. Prior to the reinstall of Vista disk manager showed the Lacie as healthy and my GB's of data there. Same Vista, same computer, same connections and software. No Data....
