Acomdata 1TB external hard drive.
I bought this unit to do automatic backups of my internal hard drive. It has worked flawlessly since I bought it. The price was very good.($110.00)Easy to set up. Does not seem unreasonably warm.I have had Acomdata external hard drives before. I do not have any complaints with them. I feel they make a good product....

Large, fast and easy
I initially was going to get a 64GB flash drive, but then saw that external hard drives were much cheaper for the size. I spent several days reading reviews, checking specs, looking at buying a case separately and a hard drive to put in it. AcomData PureDrive 1TB USB 2.0/eSATA had the best combination of price and good reviews that I found. I wanted a hard drive that had the eSATA capability, and that can add 20 or 30 bucks.
Won't last more than a year
I cannot warn people off of any Acomdata product fast enough. I am trying to do my best though. I bought (2) different hard drives from them to back up my iphoto and itunes. One was fire wire and one was usb. The usb failed about 13 month after I bought it. I called them and asked them to get me another one and remove the information from the failed one. They essentially laughed at me. After a year they completely wash their hands of their customers. The Firewire failed about (20) days a...
