The worst drive ever!!! If you value your money, data, and time, then I implore you not to even THINK about purchasing this HORRID device! I was unfortunate enough to purchase this worthless hard drive, thinking that I would give this no-name-brand a chance. However, two days after using it, the bright blue LED turned red and the drive was no longer usable. I tried God knows how many methods of reviving it, all of which were utter failures. Nice external drive I bought one of these in September 2007 and partitioned it to create a separate drive the same size as my Apple notebook hard drive and replicated the notebook drive using Carbon Copy while using the larger partition as drive space for downloaded movies.

Using firewire, I boot off of this replica external drive, which is faster than my internal laptop drive, and use the laptop drive as the back-up drive.
