HDD have instruction As stated by other reviewers, the HDD came as a stand alone, no instructions, no manual or anything. Unless you know how to install it, I wouldn't recommend buying this one. In my case, I used it for a game console and not as a PC HDD upgrade. Unfortunately, it is now just collecting dust since my console doesn't recognize it and I can't use it on my old PC. –Markfrom Amazon.com

Easy.No problems. Just make sure you buy the right drive for your computer and download the software from Western Digitals website you should have no problems.
