Probablly the fastest single drive solution to date, within reasonable prices
You want speed and free space? Here you go.
Reviews/benchmarks across the net show that this is one of the fastest single drive, non-SSD solutions there is, without paying for overpriced hard drives. Sure, you can get a 300GB Velociraptor, but you'll end up paying 4x as much, and an improvement of perhaps 1.5x times more.
Running HDTach, this drive gets 90-95 MB/s read and write, with a burst speed of 120MB/s. Using an AMD SB750-based system.
For something more "concrete", that's 5.9 in...

The drive works good. My only complaint is that you said there was free shipping and when I selected that and placed the order it said it would ship in three and 1/2 weeks. I then cancelled the order and placed a new order paying for 2day shipping. Free shipping should ship within three or for days not weeks.

Big, Fast Hard Drive at a good price
The product does what it is supposed to do, at a great price, and with a long warranty that I don't expect to ever have to use. Definitely a recommended buy.
