It worths the price! I bought it at Fry's for $29.99, and it works great and quite! I used it on a Mac. Both SATA and PATA compatible. There are some cheaper ones but this is a more sturdy enclosure compare to the other ones and with the right price.

Good but not for every Hard Drive
It is working fine but not with every hard drive. I had a 300Gb Quantum that wouldn't power up at all although it worked with every other hard drive I had at hand. I had other enclosures that powered up the mentioned hard drive without any issues. –zonakfrom Amazon.com
