Great Enclosure! This is the first time I've purchased a hard drive enclosure. I chose Antec because it's the same brand as my PC case. It only took me about 10 minutes to install my old Seagate 720GB drive to this case. No problems. My motherboard already had an eSATA jack so I didn't need to install the included interface.

All cables are included - eSATA and USB.

FYI - The product description on Amazon needs to be updated. According to Antec's web site, this enclosure can handle 1TB drives. It ... –Slade Simonfrom Amazon.com

Good But Not Perfect The disk enclosure is exactly as advertised. It works well and is instantly recognized by XP and Vista computers. And it has no problem with the 1.5TB drive I installed in it.

But it isn't perfect:

1) It's a bit noisy when it is on. It has a fan and that keeps the unit cool but in a quiet room, the fan seems to be really noisy.

2) It's a bit of a pain to install the disk. There are a lot of very small screws and many of them are a pain to get back in (especially when y... –Jeff Sfrom Amazon.com

Very fast, quiet, mostly solid I have three of these and they work well, generally. As noted in other reviews the connections (both power and esata) can easily work themselves loose. Also one now won't power up. I'll try tech support and report back if I have any problems getting a replacement.

These are worth the trouble though because they are cool running (hard disk stays relatively cool), very quiet, and very fast (about 4 X faster than USB2.0 in my tests). –Peter B. Galvinfrom Amazon.com
