Hard Drive Enclosure for Dish
I purchased this case to enable me to use unused hard drives with our Dish DVR receiver. Connected to Dish USB, I am able to move instructional (DIY etc) videos and movies from the DVR to the external hard drives, woodworking on one (black), Food network (blue) on another, Sci-Fi (red) on yet another, etc. I am able to unplug one NexStar then plug in another NexStar and Dish recognizes them and I can play back HD movies from the NexStar enclosure - Great enclosures...

Great HD Enclosure
I purchased this unit about a year ago and have been using it without a single problem ever since. It looks outstanding, the mirror finish is excellent and the build quality is definitely there.
Nice Quiet Small Enclosure
I got the Vantec enclosure to replace my old Macally enclosure. First the Vantec is a small case. I installed a Seagate 250gb HD into this and it is a snug fit. The black front panel slides out you lay your HD in the tray in, screw it, attach cables, attach LED connection and slide back in. ((When I first got this I slid this open real fast, but be careful the LED light connection was already hooked up, I nearly messed up the connectors.))| elapsed time: | 33.5ms |
