Good product, real pain to install
Pros:
- does exactly what it's supposed to do
- well-built
- not much more expensive (maybe even cheaper) than 3 separate SATA hot-swappable mobile racks, plus it saves space
- looks great
Cons:
- REAL pain to install. Slightly larger than it should have been, so while it still fits the majority of cases, it's not for everyone. I have a Cooler Master Centurion case which has non-standard (read: weird) expansion bay locking system, and it took me about an hour to install. I...

Very simple product, not much value-add
This product leverages the eSATA implementation on your motherboard/eSATA card in your PC. It is basically a bridge from your internal connections to a hot-swappable drive cage. It works fine and performance matches that of your SATA back-end that you plug it into. However, I did have some issues:
1. I had an Antec P-180 and this would not fit, the rails did not line up properly. The only way I could get it to squeeze in the case was to put it in upside down. This isn't a huge deal, ...

A Great Way to Use Those Extra Drive Bays...
This product is definitely not for everyone.
That being said, for those of us who need it, this is a great way to use extra drive bays. Most people who would be interested in such a product:
1) have limited space (or prime real estate) in their case for hard drives, or
2) they need the convenience of 'hot swapping' drives for easy exchange of large volumes of data.
