I installed this to replace an Evercool WC-202 water cooling system which was garbage. My hope for the Evercool was that it would be quiet and do a good job of cooling the CPU. It satisfied neither criterion. With the Evercool the CPU idled at 45C to 50C. Under 50% CPU load the CPU went to 90C. It was clear I needed something else. I installed the Thermaltake TMG i1 (easy with a largish case.) The mounting is the same as the standard Intel cooler that comes with the CPU. It is significant...
