Bigger is deifnitely better -
The first thing you'll notice is that it is big. In fact, I was afraid there would be issues with case crowding or interference with other components.

Por foto no se veia tan grande el Cooler pero cuando me llego es una cosa monstruosa, si este es grande el 9700 es una aberración.
Really smooth
This is a very good heat sink. It's a little bit big but if you have a mid tower case you should not have problems installing it in your system. My CPU (AMD Athlon 64 bit 3.0 GHz 6000+) runs around 45 degrees Celsius without load and around 65 degrees under full load. According to fan speed the rpm is 2660 RPM!!. One more thing.
