Useful, well designed
I bought the Bamboo fun to write notes with math formulas that I could store on my computer (without the hassle of scanning paper etc). The Bamboo hardware is perfect for this. It's well designed, functions just as advertised and integrates perfectly with my Macbook. The resolution is probably not good enough for any professional photo editing, but just fine for everyday stuff.
The only complaint I have is that none of the bundled software lets me write notes and store them as pdf docume...

One Annoying Thing You should know...
Hi,
I have to say I do like this tablet for the money, the only thing you should realize is that there is, I believe, ONE MAJOR DESIGN FLAW.
The USB connector is on the top LEFT Side, which means for the 90-93 % of us whom are RIGHT HANDED and want to keep the tablet to the Right of the Keyboard...The Cord is TOTALLY in the Way.
Its a good tablet, just a very bad placement of USB cable. Should have been in the Middle to accommodate placement on either side of keyboard.

Fun addition to your computer!
I've wanted a Wacom tablet for a while, and the Bamboo Fun was the right price. I am not a professional graphic designer, but I do love to create artwork and play with pictures on the computer, and the Bamboo Fun is great for this. I also went with the small size, and I'm glad that I did - it seems that it would take more effort and be more difficult on the wrist and hand to move the mouse or the pen around a larger tablet. The small size is just right.
Using the pen takes some getting us...
