234eMall advertised a unit as being "like new", yet it arrived with numerous deep scratches. When I wrote a bad review, I was contacted and given a sob story about how he was a 67 year old man and this was his only source of income. He promised he would send a replacement if I removed my negative feedback. I did so, and he never sent the replacement. Instead I received the following email when I asked where my replacement was:
Very disappointing product - avoid this one
We bought this for a conference room where we hooked the transmitter up to a docking station. The problem is that the keyboard transmission is intermittent - as you type words, you have to check each individual letter continually, because sometimes the letter doesn't transmit. Sometimes you have to hit the letter several times, and if it is in the middle of a word, this is very distracting and annoying. And this problem happens all the time - not just once in a while. Very disappointing product.

UPDATE 12/12/08: Comfortable keyboard and mouse....BUT
UPDATE: After the post below, it started screwing up again. I think it's a software issue, as others have mentioned. I'm running XP Pro in a corporate environment, but all necessary drivers and software components are in place, so I'm at a loss. Keyboard still rocks though. I've gone back to a wired mouse, a Microsoft Optical Blue. Oddly enough, the scroll doesn't work AT ALL, and it used to. Intellipoint perhaps???!!
