Excellent ambidextrous mouse
Logitech truly are masters of mouse design. I have bought several of this RX1000 model because it's such a great value and works for both lefties and righties. (I personally mouse with both hands, in order to avoid tendinitis in my right arm.) The accuracy of the tracking is excellent. The weight is just enough to feel sturdy and significant, but not so much that it's work to move it about, or pick up. It also survives being dropped. Too sensitive when lifted
This mouse works smoothly and is quite accurate. The problem is that the laser allows this mouse to move the cursor even when the mouse is lifted 1/4 inch off the surface of the desk. This is a real problem of you want to move the mouse a long distance across the screen using a move-lift/center-move gesture. Having used more than a dozen different mice over the years, the Logitech RX1000 Laser Mouse proved to be the best performer yet for speed, accuracy and features. And it feels more comfortable too. Purchased this mouse about 1 year ago and liked it so much I wanted another for my 2nd pc but couldn't find one again locally. Thanks to Amazon, now I have one.
