Product doesn't work
Socket Cordless Serial Adapter is supposed to be a serial cable replacement using Bluetooth as a transport layer. The included software is quite easy to understand but when I connected the CSA to the periferial device and mated with the PC it didn't work. The BT-link time out in less than one minute if there is no communication (my serial cabe didn't include this feature). I get two virtual serial ports on my PC. One for Tx and another for Rx (my serial cable didn't do this either). My problems...

Slicker than IOGEAR's, far more expensive and lacks low speed serial
Firstly this wireless serial adapter is much slicker than IOGEAR's. And for the price it should be. This unit has no dip switches and is slightly more compact.| elapsed time: | 32.7ms |
