Good memory, but didn't work for my application...
I purchased two of these 256MB memory modules for an older Dell Latitude C600 850MHz laptop, but the machine will not POST with one or both of these modules installed. Upon close inspection, it appears that the Edge memory uses high density RAM chips and I need SODIMMs that use low density RAM chips (the Edge SODIMMs have 8 chips, 4 per side, and memory that works in my Latitude has 16 chips, 8 per side). I was able to test the Edge memory in a different laptop (an HP with an AMD Duron 900MHz)...

Notebook RAM
Upgraded from factory 256 mb to two sticks of this 256 mb ram. I did not see any difference in the performance in speed or with the amount of open windows. Could be the performance of the motherboard/processor, but I expected to see something different. I have upgraded many PC in the past, and a ram upgrade always shows a little performance change. This notebook was different. I should have given the computer away and purchased new.

Worked out of box
I received this memory within 1 day of ordering. Could have been the fastest delivery I've ever had on Amazon. One thing I noticed is that it did seem as if this was a used item just repackaged and with a sticker around the box.
