Call your I.S.P. to find out if they provide V.92 connection capability, thus ensuring that this modem will work for your purpose. This is a very good hardware based modem from one of the best modem manufacturers in the world. :-)

Never had a problem with ANY US Robotics modem. Always a strong-man in the modem arena. A real modem (i.e., hardware; not a software "Win Modem").
