Waste of money Over time I have bought two of these modems. The first one lasted me a little while longer but this last one is a piece of royal junk. Like one other review I read, it will time out on me after being connected for only a short time. It will be trying to send requests out while not accepting data back in. Modem Almost Works Right A big thumbs down!!

Installed seamlessly and seemed to work OK untill I tried to send a fax to a real fax machine. It will not connect. Conclude that it is modem problem and not the fault of the remote fax machines since I have two other computers (an HP and a "brand X") both of which comunicate with the fax machines.

Have tried both the default Windows XP and the latest USR drivers with same results.

So far USR unhelpful.
