Great monitor arm for CRT type monitors!
This unit sets the standard for monitor arms for CRT monitors. It is very well made, solid metal, excellent workmanship, screws and other parts fit great, paint finish is great. I love it. I have used this type of monitor arm for about 20 years and this latest one is the best quality of any I have purchased. (My former wife ended up with my last one) This unit works great! Fast shipping too, even with standard shipping. An excellent value. Don't bother with cheaper units-they are cheaper...

I didn't buy one of these from Amazon. I've had one for about ten years. It's a tried and true design around since the 80s. It's outlasted monitors from 15" to 21" with no real bother. I have no real fear of moving the monitor about or shaking my (heavy) desk a little. One note is to have a strong desk. Mine is 2" thick laminate. Remember that you are holding 50 or so pounds on a lever by just a few square inches of desk. Particle board need not apply. My arm has been through three such particle...
