Outstanding monitor for word processing and web surfing
I bought this monitor for word processing and web surfing. I do alot of word processing and emailing, so crisp text is paramount. I do not play games so cannot attest to its capability in that regard, other than having read that its 25 ms response time is not conducive to gaming.
Because this is a Super Patterned Vertical Alignment (S-PVA) display versus my former Twisted Nematic (TN) display (the vast majority of displays are TN), I am able to view it from above, below, and to the side ...

Great LCD Monitor
I bought this lcd monitor last week and this is one of the best monitors I have used. This monitor is MVA (8-bit) which is different than the standard TN (6-bit). The monitor displays true 8-bit 16 million colors and it does not need to do dithering like the 6-bit TN monitors. The monitor is bright and clear and I love to do my work on this monitor.

Just before that, I've also tried the Samsung 943B (for about a week) which had a funny sparkly shine on the screen and very poor viewing angles (so I returned it to the store). The frame all around the 943T screen is quite thin, so the emphasis is on the LCD screen. I use one 943T in landscape (for Outlook, Excel, etc.) and the other in portrait mode (for Word, Internet, etc.)....
