This puppy belts out a 20,000:1 contrast ratio which is just under the standard of more recent LCD TV's. Nonetheless, the picture quality is very sharp (DVI/HDMI all the way, baby!) and the wide screen display makes my eyes dance.
A Plesant Purchase
When I first upgraded from my Dell 19" LCD to this, I have to say I was a little unimpressed. As a for warning, if you don't want to really mess around with the settings on the monitor for a little while, I'd suggest looking for a different monitor, especially if you're a gamer. Frankly, their default color schemes suck. It took me a good while to get a good setting that was natural and wasn't too bright/colorful and actually had a black instead of a grey. If you don't mind fixing this, I'd sugg...
