Best Monitor for the Price
I have now owned this product and used it 3 - 5 days a week at work for more than 8 months (i.e., more than 1,300 hours of use), and not a single problem. I previously had a 19" widescreen at home and work, but after moving up to a 30" monitor at home I could no longer stand the lack of real estate at home - I never thought I would come to think of a 19" screen as small. It could happen to anyone.
This was a special warehouse purchase that was reported to have a slightly damaged box and a blemish on the case of the unit for a reduced price. I could care less about the box or a blemish on the case. Unit arrive timely and looked better than reported; however, it would not start (zero burn in time). I shipped the unit back immediately to Amazon.com and they charged me $19.04 for the experience. It was returned within their 30 days policy, but I guess restocking charges apply even if the unit...

OK to start with but.....
Like the review posted by L. Bourke, I too was initially impressed by this monitor however. I now have the same problem as this reviewer, I purchased my monitor in July 2008, and started getting the problem at the beginning of November. Initally it would flicker once or twice a day, but now I can only use the monitor for about 30 minutes before the flicker becomes unbeareable. Heat is the cause as this monitor seams to get unusually hot and you can sometimes here the cracking of the plastic casi...
