Seems to work, a keeper
I have two systems that are using this NIC, I have no other Gigabit NICs to compare to. I had the LinkSys WRT54GS 54g router, and the downloading of a 374 MB file via LAN was at 64 mbps max, while a D-Link DIR-655 gigabit router is 112 mbps max, so I guess it's working. But, who the heck came up with this gigabit BS, the actual speed is far from what their theoretical claim is, even the router's tech support stated that 125 mbps is the max that can be expected from a home router. Works well
This card works well. It seems to be based on the Marvell Yukon 88E8xxx chipset, so it's rather compatible and has a fair number of drivers out there.
Nothing special about it, other than the chipset.

All in All a pretty good card
I bought several of these cards to install in computers at my office. Most of the installs went without a hitch but two of the computers have been having on and off problems with the card. Sometimes the computer will boot up and say that it has found new hardware in the form of an Ethernet controller, no matter what drivers I throw at it, it says that none of them are the right drivers for the device.
