Good for browsing web but not gaming
Bought this for a brand new Vista64 system. Worked great for browsing the web and was very reliable for that but playing games online, it studdered horribly. Changed channels, set router only to G, changed security but same problem. Never did this with older wireless adapter. Ended up buying a DLink wireless adapter and that works perfectly....

Not a Hitch, And I Can Pipe Wireless From Down the Street...
Great card, greater price, though I got it for $26 from the same page you're looking at. They must have realized it was a great buy... maybe too great. Anyway, my brother-in-law and I share a wireless network, though he is about 120-130 feet away and in another building in this apartment complex. I get 98% signal even though he's running a "G" router.

Disappointed
Installed this to use with my D-Link DGL-4500 (Wireless N Draft 20 Router and the connection fluctuated between 24 and 56 Mbps continuously, and only connected in G protocol. Even worse, it continuously dropped the connection, even though I used the latest software from Trendnet. I got 120 Mbps by disabling the connection software and letting Windows XP manage the connection. My laptop gets 300 Mbps consistently at the same distance and location with a D-Link: "DWA-652 Xtreme N Notebook Adapt...
