Not the best
If you looking for getting better reception signal,not this one. It work same as my wi-fi card that come with my asuss eee 900ha. I wish I can return it....

range is not good enough
I already had an adapter which was compatible with backtrack i bought this cause i thought it will improve the range , I even bought a 16dbi antenna

It works pretty good. Here is a little tip for even more reception, find a nice stainless steel bowl about the size of a dinner plate and a little piece of duct tape and one usb cable now tape the cable to the bowl so the antenna will hang right in the middle when you set it upright. you aim it in the direction you need. you now have a directional more powerful antenna.
