not bad, but not great Well, I've had this printer a little over a year now. Pretty easy to set up, prints and copies nicely, only used the fax 1 or 2 times with no problem. The only problem I really have is the scan doesn't seem to work with my computer for some reason, but I'm not worrying about that too much since I'm planning to buy a separate scanner. I'm a student and use this mostly to print out black and white text documents. Color cartridge does seem to run out fast, but when you go to file>print, you ... –E. Bradfordfrom Amazon.com

TRASH! You have to watch how companies design their products. In fast mode, I thought the machine was going to fly apart. Does that mean in is going to brake soon because of the design? Probably.

If you have a network guess what, the printer is garbage. I previously purchased a similar printer from hp. It worked on my wired network. The customer service that they could hook it up if I paid an extra $40! And that was for a limited phone call! What a joke!

I hope you like buying printer cartridges For a multi-function printer, this one does what it claims. It functions. That's about it. The included HP software is buggy. I uninstalled it.

It will print. It will fax. It will scan & copy.

However, I'm rating this printer a single star because I'm so unimpressed by the fact that I can't refill my ink cartridges.

Also, the printer itself will complain and throw an error if you try to print with only a single cartridge. You must have both inserted.
