Not too many products are as hated as this by owners. Clearly Kodak is clueless. At least I don't own their stock. Food choppers belong in infomercials, not all-in-one printers. When you only waste $19.95, it's a lot less annoying....

Decent hardware, bad software
I purchased this printer during an urgent moment, without being able to research it. I wish I had more time, as I agree with most here that this isn't the best printer out there. It seems to have the "all-in-one"feature more emphasized than quality of the final output. Prints are decent, scans are terrible, copies look like copies. I have not been able to scan from within Photoshop, and I was under the impression that I could. The printers own software provides no preview image and limited ...

Endless Errors
The printer just doesn't quite ever work...at all. It always thinks the printer cartridge isn't there, the software is clumsy, I wasted all the color ink printing off test pages every time the printer was turned on. Bah, I sent it back and got a refund...went with a cheapo HP C4480 which works like a charm. Don't be fooled by the ink prices...its not much cheaper than HP ($15 vs $10) and you have to buy Kodak's special expensive paper or the cartridges won't work.
