Clearly improved installation process + good product
Having had horrible tech support experiences with Hawking Technologies in the past, I was reluctant to order their wireless print server, but its one of the few wireless products that supports both USB and Parallel Ports. The earlier reviews had me fully prepared for a very long installation process with a series of frustrating calls to Hawking's incompetent outsourced tech support call center.
Device defective, poor docs, Difficult support
Poor install documentation. I installed under Windows XP, once auto-run fired up, CD would copy some files and just quit. Needed to turn off all firewalls etc,this was not documented. Description of install process and LEDs were miss-matched. They obviously used an out dated manual for an upgraded product. After retrieving the correct downloaded driver ( 3 different choices depending on what serial Ser. no.) I thought I had it made once the software recognized the printers. BTW I had to manuall...

Didn't work as described in instructions. After speaking to tech support for about 5 minutes was printing. Had to configure the port with the IP address of the printer. Now it works flawlessly. An adendum should be included in the instructions or on a website to describe how to configure the port for printing.
