04 May 2009 Worked first time! I knew I was taking a chance on this product after reading other reviews here, many of which were negative. I also was taking a chance because my printer - an older HP Color LaserJet 2550L - was not included on Netgear's list of supported printers.

21 Apr 2009 Great once you get it configured I purchased 2 of these refurbished from another vendor, but I thought I would share my lessons learned with the Amazon community. This print server is a b**ch to set up the first time, but once you get it working, it does the trick. Make sure to check if it is compatible with your printer before buying this. However, my printer is the Brother 2070-N which is NOT on the compatible printers list, but it worked anyway. Here are some notes I wrote that might save you some time.

06 Apr 2009 Very Easy to Set Up I bought this so that my whole family with all of our laptops would be able to use a dedicated printer. I checked on Netgear's website before ordering to make sure my printer would work and was happy when I saw that it would. Setup was extremely easy and really the only time consuming part was making sure the print driver for the printer I wanted to use was on each of our laptops.
