17 Mar 2009 Decent We have had the Wasp WPL 606 for about a year and we haven't had any mechanical problems with it. As noted by another, internal memory would be great, as would compatibility with non-Wasp barcode softwares. Even using Wasp Labeler 6.0, it takes a minute for the printer to begin printing. 08 Nov 2007 WASP Printers - (update) - Working OK now. My company purchased the Wasp WPL606 printer but it died after only 6 months of occasional use. The printer stopped detecting the paper and constantly failed for a paper jam and no paper, when it clearly was not jammed or out of paper. After going back and forth with the service department at Wasp, they had me return the printer for repair but they couldn't find anything wrong with it so they sent it back to me. 08 Sep 2005 WASP is terrible!!! My company purchased the W-600 printer and we've sent it in twice so far. We're a government agency so we have to keep it now that we've purchased it, otherwise we would have gone with another barcode company. I do not recommend any of their products. –A.
