Scanjet G4050
I have been impressed with the 16 slides this machine can make. I had been using the 4-5 slide reproducer and had quite a few problems with it.I have not used the 4050 for the other purposes yet but hope to do so in the future....

Poor Quality Control at HP
This product has issues and least of which is being able to work. I purchased a new unit but received a used unit. The install CD had a large scatch on it and I was not able to load the software. Amazon shipped a second unit which took me some time to install but at least it was a new unit. After spending 3 hours on the phone with HP help desk it was determined that the unit was broken. I would recommend another scanner before buying this unit.
