Patriot SSD
Just installed it on my Macbook pro and has worked flawlessly. Leopard loads in under 25secs and XP in about 35secs. It is not a large ssd but if you have an external hd then your set. Very fast, you can tell the difference between my old 7200 rpm and this one. I payed $150 for it thru compusa....

just horrible stuttering
this SSD is based on the JMicron controller and thus only has 16K cache. When multitasking, it makes your system hang and stutter. just horribly.
Tech Support is poor
I received this 64gb SSD and it was not functional, I tried to contact tech support but they were very confused. They thought it was something to get the machine on the internet. Then they wanted to pass me off to Microsoft Tech Support. Apparently their website is a bunch of links to tech support sites. It does not appear like there is a real site at all. I will try a different brand name drive next time. Perhaps I just got a lemon, but I am concerned about the tech support.
