Good Computer, No Problems I have had the computer for about 3 months now and still happy with it. I have had no problems and it seems to run any program with ease. I've done a bit of gaming with it and the games play pretty smooth. I also use Pinnacle Studio 12 (which loads in about 7 sec) and it has no problem editing and creating HD movies. It is a lot of performance for the price, I just hope it runs as long as my last Gateway laptop (still running after 5 1/2 years). –sopasfrom Amazon.com

Good Price, Great computer We bought this to replace our aging computer at BB also. It has run great so far, meets all our needs. We also got the 22" wide screen and an HP all in one printer. It was definitely worth the extra $150 to have the geek squad at BB set up the files, delete promo programs and create all the back-up disks. When the time comes to replace this computer I will look for another gateway, assuming they are still around at that time. –John Visneskifrom Amazon.com

Gateway support This is a decent product providing you actually get what the product sales sheet say the product will do.
Calling the support chat line is like calling your dog, you get as much knowledgable conversation.
Buy a support contract, call and ask the same question three times and you get four different answers, none necessarily correct.
ASUS has bought Gateway so "We can't help you" -- level 3 support.
Do not expect much help if the machine is not as advertised or won't work.
