Good Value Plenty of speed and memory but not a lot of extras. The software that's pre-loaded is pretty minimal. My wife hates the keyboard -- not as comfortable as our old Dell. My old version of Office 2003 runs on it without any problems. I have had two or three compatibility issues due to the 64 bit Windows Vista version. Overall this computer is a good value.... –R. "Total Care" to a certain point I bought this item on January 19th 2009. It never worked right with the first indication being it wouldn't wake up from sleep mode without a hard restart.
In the 3 months I had this machine it was sent back to HP to be repaired 3 times each time spending countless hours with tech support and trying to decipher the foreign language of the Tech support person, making the experience even more frustrating. the Hard drive the video card and the CPU all blew up in that 3 months. Seemed good for stats This review is based mostly on the fact that this computer has Vista as its OS.
This operating system is nothing short of terrible. Completely not user friendly, won't work correctly with my software (mostly music recording and editing), and won't even allow the help files.
I will be having a friend either build one after I get my 85 percent refund or have the XP operating system put in.
