Great HD recording quality
The drivers still need to be perfected with this product but overall it works pretty well. I'm primarily using the product with PVR software. I had some problems recording a few shows on a timer. The tuners had a few problems switching from a recorded digital HD show to a recorded analog show. The analog recording ended up recording all blue video from time to time(the whole show would be lost). I managed to install a driver update that claims to fix that but it will take time to verify tha...

Fine for HDTV, useless for normal TV
I bought this card to replace an Angel dual-tuner card that came with a Dell machine. The Angel card never worked properly and even after YEARS of haggling with Dell, never could get a replacement that worked.
Too many problems
I bought this to replace a dual-tuner analog (NTSC) card, in preparation for the digital (ATSC) transition in June. I still needed analog capability since I have some in-house equipment that broadcasts analog. The dual hybrid tuners of the WinTV-HVR-2250 seemed to be just what I needed.| elapsed time: | 31.8ms |
