Looking Good! I held off buying a webcam because of all the problems I read about. Went with Linksys because my router is a Linksys. Amazingly, this webcam worked out of the box. I used the CD it came with and the camera is now working wired or wireless. I like it.... –D. Harwoodfrom Amazon.com

works well with IE and Firefox (w/o sound) This camera does everything it claims to do (see linksys website) and worked well for me out of the box. Granted, I'm a computer science (CS) guy, but after assigning a static IP address to the camera it has performed beautifully without any complicated setup (i.e. you don't need a CS degree to set this thing up). We currently use it to watch our infant son while he sleeps using my wife's ubuntu/linux operating system (OS) netbook (Asus EEE). That said, it is meant to be used with a windows O... –Ellis B. GREAT WHAT? RESTART/RE-ADD ADMIN/PASS EVERY 3 DAYS - PASS! AVOID! OK, after 2 months use, it is going up for sale. Does it work, yes. Is it easy to setup, no. But being a tech/admin, you get used to flaky products, and Linksys makes many (i.e. most of their network cards encryted only work with their routers).

Why i sold: EVERY 2-3 days you will need to unplug from outlet and let startup again. Or if that does not do it, the flaky software will forget the admin/password you 'saved' and you will have to go into setup and add, yet again, every 2-3 days. B... –D. Ericksonfrom Amazon.com
