Don't buy it if you use Windows on your Mac
This is a nice (and expensive) camera that works fine under Mac OS X. Installation is easy and it provides excellent image quality. But DO NOT buy this camera if you plan to use it under Windows on your Mac (on BootCamp, VMwareFusion or similar products). For some reason, Logitech does not provide drivers for the QuickCam Vision Pro for Windows and it only works under Mac OS. Not bad but not great. Should be cheaper
Worked great for the first couple of weeks but by week 3 it started to act a little wonky. More often than not we need to unplug the device and plug it back in for it to work. It's almost like we have to reset it about every other time. This is a pain because as I am sure most of us don't have the back of a computer that is accessible very easily.
Simplicity is the key
This is plug & play as it was intended. Plugged the device in, Skype immediately recognized it, as did all my other mac applications. An absolute breeze to use.
