Tomb Raider II was the first computer game I ever played. This was back in 1996. Since then, I've played all the TR's (except Anniversay). To date, this game has to be my favorite. Sure, the graphics have gotten better with time but the graphics on TR II are still beautiful and more than that, the game play has never been the since! Good game fun
Somebody here said they could not get the sound to work on this game. For me, Tomb Raider 1's sound would not play on my Windows XP. But Tomb Raider 2 and up work fine for me. As for the game, it's a major graphical improvement from Tomb Raider 1. The graphics are much smoother than more detail and movement went into creating the environments and Lara. Lara now has a swinging ponytail and drops of water fall off her after she goes swimming. Other than that it's pretty much the same game as TR1. ...

Beware XP users
This is no doubt a great game, one of the best ever but it has a number of problems running on Windows XP. For me, the music would not play.
