A MagicTG/MMO/RTS Player's Dream Come true
If you ever played Magic The Gathering, World of Warcraft, and Age of Empires, and liked all three (or anything like them), you will LOVE Battleforge. It has a growing online community, a depth of strategy, the fun involved in creating and upgrading a deck, and the glory of watching it all unfold with great graphics on your computer screen.
The story is a little whacky, yet interesting. The units and factions are diverse and beautifully rendered. The missions themselves are challengin...

Fans of Magic the Gathering will enjoy this.
What it is:
This game is basically a combination of Magic the Gathering and Age of Mythology (or Warcraft). It's a real time strategy game, but instead of collecting resources needed to "cast" items, you collect energy needed to "cast" cards from your 20-card deck.

2) You have to buy the cards with real cash. True to EA style, in order to get the most out of this game you have to spend more and more. I can already guess that there will be expansion sets of cards ...

BattleForge
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- BattleForge is a video game developed by EA Phenomic and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on Windows in March 2009. A demo was released in the same month. BattleForge is a card based RTS. It revolves around trading, buying and winning through means of micro-transactions. Micro-transactions are not required for playing the game, only for buying new cards. On May 26, 2009, BattleForge became a Play 4 Free branded game with only 32 of the 200 cards available. In order to get additional cards, players will now need to buy points on the BattleForge website. The retail version comes with all of the starter decks (One for each element, in addition to the two free decks) and 3,000 BattleForge points.
