Tarantula Toy
Although a bit larger than a real Tarantula, it comes in handy -- I work in the insect area of a zoo. Looks pretty life like -- would have been nicer if the legs moved the Tarantula instead of wheels underneath but all in all a good toy....

Fun toy for kids
I got this as a Christmas gift for my 9yr old cousin who wanted the spider to (in her words) "scare her sister". She really liked it and played with it for longer than the xbox360 her parents got her, so that's saying a lot. It takes a really small screwdriver to open up the battery covers on the spider and the remote control, but after that it worked great. The range on the remote is at least 30 feet which is pretty impressive, and the feet move pretty realistically. I doubt, however, that anyo...

Kind of flimsy
I purchased this for a male relative who's 9. High marks for looking so real, but it was somewhat disappointing in that it was kind of flimsy, particularly the legs. I was aware from previous reviews that it didn't work well on carpet. Overall, pretty fun toy anyway.
