Wonderful to Great Fun depending on one's age
I wish it had more information (politics, events, etc.) but as a basic, fun way to find out where in the world (literally!) everything is, it's great.

Durable, Educational, Fun
We use this globe almost everyday and it has greatly improved the geography of all our family members. We keep it on our coffee table as a convenient reference for countries we encounter in our stories. We also love the Eureka challenges, which have varying levels of difficulty to them and can be enjoyed by children and adults.
Obviously, a toy like this is not meant to withstand rough play and frequent totes around. However, I was extremely impressed when my son dropped his globe on our ...

Awesome!
I bought this globe for my 4 yr old grandson. Within hours he knew a dozen different countries around the world. Everytime we saw something on tv, we'd look it up on the globe. If we were eating bananas or pineapple, we'd look to see where they came from. Even the time/distance feature fascinated him. (How long/far to get to Grandma's house? or Auntie Deb's? etc) My favorite feature was the music from different parts of the world. This is an awesome product!
