Enjoying the Sony RCD-W500C
I purchased the Sony RCD-W500C at the suggestion of a friend at work. I have many older albums that I wanted to try and record on a CD format. I spent about a week reading over the manual and another day or so getting familar with the controls on the deck. I am very pleased with the sound of the albums recorded on a CD format. On the Sony RCD-W500C/W100 I bought one about a month ago and have been pleased with it. I am able to record from CD to CD even thou I have not figure out how to adjust the volume while recording from CD to CD, and from Tape to CD which I can control the volume when recording from Tape to CD. I agree with everybody else on the instruction book that it's really confusing. So before you start read it over and over. I eventually will figure out how to set the volume when recording from CD to CD but...

Bought another one
This player recorder is really good, I use it every week at our church to record our praise service. We now have two, one for each sanctuary. It took a little bit to get through the instruction book, but once I mastered it, it has all of the functions I need. When you are recording live the make next track function is very useful to create breaks for the next song.
