Good Product, But Room for Improvement
I use this product regularly, almost every day during a one-hour walk. It is the best there is for a portable satelite radio. I'd recommend the product, but there are some deficiencies. Some include - often times one sets the XMP3 to record and it fails to do so, battery life isn't much longer than a couple of hours, the program guide (you'd have to own one to understand this feature) frequently is non-existent or only for a limited period of time. I can't wait to see future upgrades of this ...

Great features but poor quality control
This XM radio/mp3 player is full of great features and capabilities - sound was good, size made it very portsble, good battery life. But, it died after 4 weeks of use. Nothing could get it to boot up; the message on the screen read "please wait" for hours. I am now waiting for its replacement.

Lukewarm Review of Pioneer GEX-XMP3 Portable XM Satellite Radio Receiver w/ Home Kit
The reception on this device is poor. Forget any kind of indoor reception. Outside reception is good only if the device is pointing south towards the satellite. So if you're moving about the signal fades in and out, quite annoying. I purchased the extra XM headphones with built in antenna and that improved the outdoor reception but the indoor reception still remained poor. Most time I had to revert to the Napster songs that I had downloaded to the device. This product needs much improvement...
