06 May 2009 Works well but... I have purchased two very similar DVD players in the last 6 months for use in the office where I work. The first one was "silver" plastic. It is used to show brief videos to adults and to keep children entertained while their parents do business with us. That unit works very well and looks like new.

More recently I purchased the black model for an adjacent department. Theirs is used much less than ours, and solely for entertaining children while their parents are doing business. That... –Ann from OP KSfrom Amazon.com
04 May 2009 Not Bad, Not Bad Purchased this dvd player two weeks ago to replace an older one with a smaller screen. Was not really excited about it being from Coby, from whom I had previously purchased another product which was complete trash, but was intrigued by the features, the positive reviews on this board, and the deep dish discount from Amazon with free shipping throw in. 26 Apr 2009 4 1/2 Stars This is an excellent DVD player. I was skeptical at buying a Coby but so far, I have not had any problems. The 10.5 inch screen is awesome and being able to swivel in any direction makes this machine almost perfect.
The only thing I do not like is the finish of the player. Shows fingerprints and is hard to clean, but these things are minor.
