great for playing any region
bought this to play region 2 dvd's from amazon germany. i enjoy watching bonanza when i'm working out on the treadmill and the only place to buy bonanza season by season is amazon germany. this dvd player was easy to setup and plays the region 2 dvd's perfect.you have to put a code in before it will work. if you look at some of the other reviews someone explains how to do it very easily. hope this helps...

Works like it should!
I've had this DVD player for a little over 2 months now and haven't had any problems at all. It plays DVDs and DIVX exceptionally well! If you take a moment to read the instruction manual, you'll see that it will fast forwards and rewinds just fine. :)

Good things come in small packages
This little DVD player really is region free, as promised. About half my DVDs are European and they play just as well as the American DVDs. The player is not much bigger than a laptop computer, and the set up instructions were easy enough for a non-techie (me!) to follow. It took longer to get the box open than it did to set up.
