Video on demand device This is a clever addition to Sony Bravia. It allows limited access to some video and music sites. They do have an alpha driver that will allow you to point to a video file from the web and play it using your windows PC. I had limited success with getting my page to work. It provides weather and traffic information by inputing your zip code. I've gotten traffic but the weather is not working. I've got a ticket in with Sony support to work on this. Sony DMXNV1 Bravia Internet Video Link Mine came bundled with my new Sony Bravia 52" HDTV on sale at Costco. It was simple to set up (just read the instructions!) and works fine with my DSL wireless router with a "medium" 768mbps internet speed. I posted a short video to YouTube and it displays really well on the HDTV - better than on my PC, which surprised me, and the video's sound is much better than I expected.

Worthless and Useless Does not work with all internet conections.
The service might be OK for a while but if you have a dynamic IP address at home (most people do) the chances are that in some weeks it will stop showing videos.....Sony technical answer: change your ISP or have them correct the information of the company that we are using to determine that your IP address is in Canada (what?)
