The surround sound complements both the movies and the TV sound. However, I cannot get the TV to recognize the Blu Ray setup using the HDMI cable port. The TV recognizes the composite cable and the component cable but not the HDMI. I've spend hours pouring over the directions trying different setups with no success. Instruction is not very good but everything is pretty automatic and you don't need much instruction to get it to work. Love the ipod hookup. 21 Apr 2009Great Picture, Great Sound, but a bit slow loadingDid all the online research and decided the BT100 from Panasonic was the best option for my small family room.
Wireless rear speakers were a plus and it only took me an hour to have this system up and running.
Blu-Ray picture quality is excellent on my new LG 47" TV and the surround sound was great after a few minor audio adjustments.
